Has anyone seen or tried this:

My first thought was that it would be great with the DX6 radio on rudder (DX6 does not have expo on rudder as I understand).

But then I thought about using it with radios that do have expo. We have limited resolution in our systems (1024, for example). In my opinion, we want maximum resolution around neutral, and once we move away from neutral then the resolution is not as important (our thumbs don't have 1024 resolution). We can program our radio for 0 expo (or even positive expo on Futabas) and then use this device to provide expo in our plane. The advantage is that we (might) gain resolution at neutral which would aid in trimming the plane and improving the feel around neutral. The downside is that we would move the full programming of expo outside our transmitter, where it is easy to do. However, we could still program expo in our transmitter, it would just end up being a combined amount (this device + transmitter). But, the "knee" might not be in the same place on each.

Of course, all of this depends on this device having a resolution that is significantly better than our radios to begin with.

I may have to buy one of these to play with! :-)
