Yeah, about a 1.75 size can be designed to fly extremely well.  My Fresca was a dream to fly, but I built it too lightly and the wing failed. I sure would like to have another.

  I don't think smaller airplanes are a bad idea. If I try to fly a small airplane and make it look good it is easier to fly the two meter airplane. I think the Japanese are flying a 110 size class that would be fun to try also.

    There seems to be a growing trend toward smaller airplanes among a lot of folks. I sure am enjoying the 90 size Boxer I bought from Ed Miller last summer. Less hassle to transport, assemble and fly. That means I can fly more!
