Well, there could be 5 guys flying pattern/scale/gassers. Then there could be half a dozen guys tinkering with their planes/engines in the pits. Then there could be some guys flying foamies in the parking lot. And guys running cars in the field next door.
   
  There may be instances where two transmitters, not within sight of each other, pick the same frequency(s) since they don't see each others signals. But, the planes, once airborne, might see both signals. This would be a good reason, in my mind, to require all transmitters to be operating within a certain area.
   
  Again, just thinking out loud.
