Tower is usually really fast to Saint Louis....If I order on Sunday, I usually have it Tuesday afternoon....at regular rates (or super-saver).
.....that is, if I order something large enough for UPS.
If it goes USPS, it can take any number of days from four to fourteen.
USPS tracking is useless too.
This makes a good excuse to order a new airplane along with that urgently needed little part. ;-)
Avoid "going postal".

I use Tower for all my Futaba, and Dubro stuff. If I get lucky, they ship from the Reno warehouse and I get it in 3 days. Virtually everything else comes from Central in (usually) 2 days. Never had a problem with Tower other than ship times from IL.

I will also say that their website is easy to navigate and has more info on the products than other sites. Horizon's website should be as easy. I just have a problem with how long it takes for things to get from Champagne Illinois to my house in Hoffman Estates Ill. Horizon get's things there the next day if you order before 11am. Tower takes about 5 days. This is with the cheapest method. I've found it easier to call my LHS, Venture and have them order what I want from Great Planes/ Tower. They will have it the next day and I save the shipping except that I have to go pick it up. Mike

You don't really need a reason to send the thingie back, so you don't even need to call them. Slap the label on it and get it to the local UPS. It's that simple!!

1. · I agree with Mike on Tower not doing a good job. Entirely to many discrepancies in their ads. The Flight Power batteries with incorrect weights listed earlier this summer is a good example. In fact it is still a good example. The most recent catalog I have shows a picture of the F3A 5350 packs but they only have small packs listed anymore.
