Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Latest F3A '09 Sequence Details

I just obtained the final draft of the '08 - '11 F3A rules from Bob
Skinner, they are in final review and should be posted soon. Here are
the answers to some of the questions that have been posted regarding P/F
-09.

Take-off / landing & procedures are not judged or scored. Landing may be
opposite take-off.

P09.1 - Name has changed to Reverse Split S & Split S Combo. Has
geometry of a Double Immelman, loops immediately follow rolls, line
length (including rolls) equals loop diameter.

P09.2 Half Rev Cuban 8 w 2 of 2 Opp. The half rolls are separated by a
line equal in duration / length to the half rolls.

P09.3 Three Rolls Reversed. Pause between rolls is very brief.

P09.8 Fig 9. The half rolls are separated by a line equal in duration /
length to the half rolls.

P09.9 Stall Turn. Snap may be positive or negative.

P09.13 Two Outside Loops w Roll. Roll integrated in last 45 deg of first
loop & first 45 deg of second.

P09.15 Half Sq on Corner. Half rolls may be either direction.

F09.1 Loop with Integrated Rolls. Rolls must be reversed.

F09.6 Half Sq w 2 Half Rolls. The half rolls are separated by a line
equal in duration / length to the half rolls.

F09.10 Shark Fin. The half rolls are separated by a line equal in
duration / length to the half rolls.

F09.11 Triangle. The half rolls are separated by a line equal in
duration / length to the half rolls.

Not different from the way we've been flying except for the pause
between two half rolls and the negative snap option in the P09 stall
turn.
