Anthony, call and talk to Mike and explain what you need, including the past history of "heavy". I asked him to reccomend one that was lighter, but similar dimensions. 
ask him if the gear he is making for our kits may have the dimensions you need. We worked out a layup that is the right flex and height for our 2 meter plane. It is a tad heavier than the ES but we broke several of the ES.

  Thanks Jerry. Which model of their gear have you used? I tried a pair in my last plane and found them heavy (+5.25oz) and SUPER stiff. So stiff that it did lots of damage to the airframe. If memory serves I tried the 27% Cap gear because it had the height I neeeded. 
   Were is ES when you need them.
