I sure agree regarding the stock. I bought 2M Apple at $54 a year ago, now it is $170+.

I never thought about using an iPod for audio books; great idea.

I like Macs too. I've owned Macs for 20+ years and currently have a Macintosh G4 desktop and an iBook laptop. In addition, I bought iMacs for my grandkids.

I didn't see anyone mention the fact that you can download audio books to your ipod. I have been "reading" books while I exercise and as a result I look forward to going to the gym and I have "read" more books since I got the ipod than I had in the previous 15 years. Good for the mind and the body. The itunes software makes the whole process easy and fun. I liked the ipod so much I went out and bought an iMac. I should have bought Apple stock. Their stuff is great.

I hate to ask this on the list but I'm about as "square as a box" as my two daughters would say.
      Please reply off list.
Is there anyone that can tell me in "old guy" terms about IPod's?
I'm thinking about getting one for my youngest.
      Thanks!
And once again sorry for the off topic question.
