Ron - VLC Media Player is one great program for playing a large variety of
video formats and, it is free! You do have to download the actual file then
play it. It will not facilitate playing Windows format files in a browser
window (Like Firefox or Safari). You can read up on the details at
http://www.videolan.org/vlc/ and make your own decision, but I have used it
on my MAC with good results. BTW - it is cross platform, so for all you
windows users it will work for you also. Many webmasters should get the hint
that EVERYBODY does not use Windows. Such is life though!
