[NSRCA-discussion] Offset in program mix

I use my right slider to mix in elevator when I go to my landing mode. This
allows me to trim for a slower airspeed without messing up my in-flight
elevator trim. I use -100% offset in the mix to allow the slider to become
effective over its entire range. I mix in a max of 10% of up elevator.

Without the offset, the mix would not start until I moved the slider through
the middle position (i.e. the slider would not have an effect until I moved
it at least half way). The offset makes it fully proportional in generating
0 to 10% mix from the slider's stop to stop.

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Offset in program mix

I'll bet there isn't anyone in the USA who can explain how the offset

function in Futaba 9Z Program Mix works and how one would use it.

Anyone? Maybe a helicopter guy?
