Hey Buddy, 

I love reading about the history of this stuff...there's a great book
written by Norm Rosenstock, "Tales of an Ancient Modeler" (I believe)
Man, I don't deserve to get to fly the new equipment we have....these
guys and you guys flying GG, reeds, escapements and the like....man you
definitely paid your dues:-)  Thanks to you all ....

I still have several of the sixties vintage rudder/Throttle only
airplanes along with many trophies earned with them including a first
place trophy from the 1966 Dallas contest.

I also qualify in the mid Old Fart class at 72
