Tony
You are comparing sweet peas to watermelon. Since when has pattern become a
spectator sport.
The Nat's for most is the place where anyone can enter and watch those who
are sponsored, (professionals) compete against each other for the National
Championship and we rejoice every once and a while when one of us slips in under
the Halo to place or win.
When we go to the Nat's to compete we generally know the pecking order and
in many cases go to renew old friendships and watch some bright talented
newbie slip into the winners circle.
Comparing Pattern to NASCAR wow. OK If entry to the Nat's is limited that's
cool I can watch it on TV. What channel shall I tune in to.
I am sure that we would not upset AMA if we limited participation or even if
we went away forever. They care so much that they aren't even around when
awards are presented to the winners. I have never seen an AMA representative at
a Nat's award ceremony and I have been there from 1998 to 2006
Buddy
