[NSRCA-discussion] E-power

The auto-detedct/auto-LVC is a dual-edged sword.

Its good if you start with a full charged pack. essentially "idiot proof" about getting a LV that won't damage the battery.
Its very bad if you start with a partially disharged pack, especially with high voltage setups.

19.2 volts is in the high end of the range you will see with a 5S pack. Its also at the low end of what you'll see with 6S pack. When you are up in the 10S range, you get an overlap of max voltage of an 8S pack's high with the 10S's low. (32 v minimum recommended rest voltage for 10S... appx 33.8 V peak for 8S)

Be very careful if your ESC autodetects cell count.

Don't overdischarge a LiPo. It can become dangerous to charge it.

FWIW, recent CC firware versions have an Auto-LiPo LVC setting.

Castle Creations you set the LVC voltage when programming (at least the ones I have).... other ESC's differ.
