Yep, it is debatable, but if we wait too long it won't make a difference anymore.

Actually, thats debateable.
OK there's evidence that average temperature on Earth is going up. Same with Mars. How'd our CO2 get there to heat that planet?
There is evidence that the Sun itself is going through a cycle of increased output, making every planet in the solar system hotter.
For all we can prove... the increased CO2 level in the atmosphere is a result of global warming from the Sun and it wouldn't matter if we quit burning fossil fuel altogether.
We really DO NOT KNOW due to using about 50 years worth of data to try to determine if we are, or ate not, on track of the natural climate which seems to have a 25,000 year cycle from ice age to ice age.
What we do know is... there's only so much fossil fuel and before its used up, we'd better be using something else.

Only one problem, no matter how much Al is gored, it he is still basically right about global warming.

That's not being fair. Al has a fully balanced carbon offset program. he consumes massive amounts of carbon laden sodapop to offset his lifestyle.

But Al is so easy to make fun of... Burning a few hundred gallons of jet fuel to go make a speach telling people to save energy and reduce pollution.

Please don't make fun of Al. If it wasn't for his greatest invention.....the internet, we wouldn't have this valuable mailing list.

We certainly have old Al's theory going on here in Southern, MO. It's snowing and accumulating. Last week it was in the teens and froze all our trees that were left from the ice storm. I guess we need to move to Alaska where it's actually getting warmer (or not).
