He has been seen at Sepulveda Basin flying RC. There is no justice in our system. At least they could have cut off his hands.

I happened to be at that race in Madera. The Sheriff's Dept. arrested him; the word in the racing fraternity at the time was that he was tried, judged guilty, and spent some time in the crossbars hotel. About restitution, I have no idea.

That reminded me of something that happened years ago. At one of the first giant-scale air races out west, a guy was caught shooting down planes with interference. He was found to have a radio in his car (maybe it was hooked up to the car antenna??) and a whole box of crystals. Several planes went down unexplained, until the frequency guy at the contest was able to use some equipment to track the interfering signals.
I never heard what happened to that guy. Anyone else know???

What a shame..I heard the same kind of story floating around pattern circles years ago..seems in this story a guy was actually shooting down pattern airplanes during a contest and the locals found him and made appropriate adjustments. (OK, so I enjoyed some of the Death Wish movies... there goes my liberal statusJLOL)
