I can't tell if my tape is blue or purple ?? I think blue - Intertape Polymer Group, Sarasota, Fl. Wonder if they have a web site ? Is there a range of colors ? I thought all expensive tapes came from 3M.
I have two skins taped, ready for epoxy, so should have some answers in about 36 hrs. Nat

Nat, the blue tape may have a bit too much adhesion in a bag application. Try the purple tape for dry skin lay up. If your skins are wet, the blue should work ok.

Is there a reason why they make the blue masking tape - the expensive stuff. Is it safe to use it in the vac bag ( 6 in Hg ) to hold wing skins together ? Will the adhesive stay put ? Nat
