You have come the closest to solving this question of which way do we do
the figure M. I have read the AMA rule that doesn't state either direction
for roll or stall and tried to understand the aresti diagram that shows
comparable roll directions on the vertical uplines. The only thing I can
deduce from all this discussion is the the entry is upright and exit is
upright and the half loop in the middle is inverted. S&G will have to
take a backseat until we decide the real way we want this figure M done.We
need the technical first,then smooze with S&G later if you must.
IMHO it doesn't matter which way you roll or look at the plane as long as
entry is upright middle is inverted and exit is upright and 3/4 rolls are
done. Just tell me what combination is correct,which rule to fly by.
