Hi Scott,
Almost certainly it did. If Art Schroeder put it in M.A.N., it's because he saw the ship fly in the previous 75 Worlds. I'll see if I can dig up proof. It probably lies in the old M.A.N. article itself.

This world-champion pattern airplane by Wolfgang Matt was designed specifically to win. Construction follows typical pattern practice: built-up surfaces and a sheet-wood fuselage shaped with blocks. WS: 69 in.; engine: .60; 5 channels; 2 sheets. 


	  
	
Does anyone know if  the Wolfgang Matt ATLAS  was built and flown prior to 1975, I know the date code on the MAN plans show a 1976 date.
