[NSRCA-discussion] You gotta have it!

Hey Tim,

Mine took a few cycles through the battery before it had good lift. I assume both the motor and battery need to be broken in. I held it in my hand and ran the battery out a few times and then it worked well. Mine also spun badly at first. It took a while to learn how to get it flying somewhat straight.

Emory.

I checked out the radio shack heli tonite. They had only 1 and said they don't get them very often. However the thing didn't work! It would only go round in circles even with full trim - no lift!

Fortunately I tried it there in the store so they took it back right away!

  Maybe just a bad batch??
  Tim

If you like that you should pick up a Horizon Blade CP. It comes with everything you need including batteries and a transmitter. It's a collective pitch machine so it is fully aerobatic. Just don't try any backward flips unless you have the carbon blades. <VBG> Parts are cheap in case you have an accident.

    Hey Stuart,

I have to say that this little heli has been a blast. For $30, it is well worth the money. I think I have flown it more in the last two days than I have flown my pattern plane in the last two months. Now, if they would just come out with a $30 indoor pattern plane...!

I'll add some comments. One slightly annoying thing is it has to retrimmed every flight. Also, it took probably 5 flights for the motor/battery to break in and have enough power. The right and left are slightly erratic at times, but it adds to the challenge. This little thing is pretty fun.

    Thanks,

    Emory Schroeter.

Not pattern but something every R/Cer should have. For only $30 at Radio
shack it's a lot of fun.

Picoo Z mini helicopter. Check out the video. (I haven't been able to get
mine to fly this smoothly yet)
