UltraCoat paint is not very fuel proof at all. I would clear coat it with Lustercaot clear or a automotive type clearcoat.

A friend of mine covered his plane with Ultracote & painted the cowl with matching Ultracote paint. What can he use to clear coat the cowl to make it fuel proof? Also what paint can he use to trim both the cowl & the covering?
