I just realized, that qoute is probably more like "Riiiiight! What's a cubit?"

Hi Anthony,
Yes! The pipe length specified in cubits ..." What's a cubit?" "Let's see, I used to know what a cubit was."
The stock OS header plus a Hattori 900 pipe yields 24" to the baffle. (1.33 cubits)
This is where I run my pipe length, using a Bolly 140 EQ, but I use a throttle-coupled
mixture control needle valve to fix the fuel metering for the prop I use.
I also run rather rich with two glo-plugs and only one head gasket, which already helps with the mid-range richness.
For must of us running two head gaskets, to stop the pinging, pipe lengths maybe 25" to 26" are more appropriate.
If I understand Mike, he runs at close to 25".
later,
Dean

Interesting comments will have to give on of these a try. I like to have
more speed available so the 18.1 X 10.1 sounds more appropriate than the
W. Am I correct on this?
Does anyone have a pipe length glow plug to baffle since I cut my headers?
Inches, MM, cubits, etc.
Anthony
