[NSRCA-discussion] Brio Hinges

Not selective enough--or something like that. And I did have a 1024 AND was
on 6M. It would go into hold at random times above 75' or so. So your M
with 3/4 rolls might have 1 1/4 up and 7/8 down--It was pretty ugly. Like I
said, Futaba had an immediate free fix--and I'm still flying the receivers.

fixed 'em--but too late for that contest)--I was one of the guys
switching
receivers around, remember? Yep, a real treat...

It was '89.
I especially liked centering my maneuvers on the sun, during that NATs.

Dean,
What year was the Wash. state Nats(Yakima) that most of our radios
wouldn't
work? '89? Maybe? It was about the only year I was even half-way
competitive--bummer...

Hi Rich,
During the "Great Toledo Gang Build" of '87 we set off the smoke alarms
in
the hotel with the CA fumes!
Remember that Mike?

I got 'hooked' on RC and Monocoted my first
airplane(orange/yellow-looked
like crap) in '67 in the dorm. My neighbors(and room mate) routinely
bitched about the odors coming from that room...

'Bout the mid-late sixties, I can remember Mom showing Dad and myself
how to
monokote a corner properly,
before we figured out that working with a clothes iron would build
strong
muscles!
Seems she was frustrated watching us mess up.

I was around then. Didn't invent It though. I did get chewed out for
using
my wife's iron to apply Mono-Cote and Cover All.
