[NSRCA-discussion] Brio Hinges

I am using Du-Bro pinned hinges as I have had a lot of luck with this setup
on my Partner and I know PL used to do all of the airplanes that they built
this way. I guess it's more of a function of past history that lead me to
this method, I have not had any trouble with hinges popping loose or
breaking through the sheeting, so I'll stick with what's familiar to me.

Good idea with the jig.

 

I've moved away from the GP hinge machine as I find it cuts the slots too
big. I've found that I can easily do it just using a #11 blade.

get all the slots even.  Once covered,  I use the jig again to cut away the
covering (that's why it's two sided with the second side a little deeper)  I
use the GP hinge machine to cut the initial slot then finish it with a #11
