[NSRCA-discussion] High Speed, Coreless Servo

If you don't need high resolution (probably don't for throttle) you could effectively gain some speed by reducing the throw in the radio, IOW only use half the throw of the servo. The end-end travel will be quicker. Use a longer arm on the servo, which will require some more torque.

Good (and fair) question, Bob R. - I want to take advantage of both my throttle curve AND the responsiveness of the Walbro carb on the MVVS. Faster is better, and I can tell a difference in the mid-range for sure. Still experimenting, you know...

  Bob,

I'm curious, why do you need .10 speed on a throttle? I normally put slow servos on throttle since some engines don't respond well to abrubt changes.

I have a couple of 4735s that I think have never been used, in case you are interested.

I'm in need of ideas for standard-size HIGH SPEED coreless throttle servos, nylon gears....NON Digital...
No brand preferences, just need some suggestions??

  Thanks!
