Not to start something but getting measurements from wing tubes is a bad idea some of the Smaragd had 2 diffferent locations for wing tubes one was 7/8 different than others, wish everyone would go back to using from root leading edge to X.

Thanks David. The Smaragd calls for the same location with the same results which is why I asked. I was figuring on a location at tube center or slightly behind it based on my Smaragd experience. Sounds like that's just about right.

Verne,

Initially I set it up per the instructions 24 mm behind the center of the tube. It was much too tail heavy. I even emailed PL for confirmation before building, and he confirmed this location. So I put my elevator servos in the stabs. Then I talked with Tony Frackowiac, and I believe he said that Quique set it at the middle of the tube. Tony was at the middle of the tube or leading edge of it. I ended up going to a single elevator servo setup, which got my CG to the middle of the tube. That's where I like it.

Any recommendations on the CG location on a PLF Concept Partner?

Thanks,
