[NSRCA-discussion] Bargain on OS 140RX stainless rear bearings

I did a search on google for "stainless bearings os 140" or something like
that.  I caught part of a thread from Verne Koester in 2004 about NTN
bearings and the correct part number 6904 LLU.  Then I searched that, and I
found two or three places that sell them.

Other than some internet research, I don't have a formula for discovering
the correct part number for other OS engines and this list.  I don't know
how you find an NTN distributor.  I search all over, and did not discover
one.

This is great info. One question - how did you ever figure this out?  I was
hoping to find some replacement SS main bearings for the OS 1.60 and .91FX,
but I can't see how to correlate the part numbers to something that might be
in the Makita parts listing at Tool Parts Direct.  Any idea what they might
be?
