Stuart,It ends up being personal preference. For example, Jason on his 14xl uses 22x12 if windy,22x11 normal conditions.The higher pitched 21" prop will give more speed but not all judges like that in the electric plane. In general terms for the 14xl most people are using 21" or 22" props. You are going to have to experiment.
