I would recommend the new GP Venus2 ARF.  He could run a 60 to 90 two stroke or a 90 four stoke to start with.  I am running the new OS120AX in mine and is has sufficient power for anything.  I am running the left over 9102 and 9202 servos and they work out great.

Well it worked. One of the guys who went to the contest in CT this weekend
is hooked. Big time. He's looking for a "real" airplane now. Does anybody
have a good used 50-size plane - maybe an Excelleron or Groovy 50? I think
he may want to use his OS 70 4C so one of those would be perfect. If not,
something bigger with a motor and possibly servos would be good too.
