Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Need a plane and fast

Hi All,

I ordered a new plane and it came last night damaged
in shipping. I am working with the company that I
bought it from and they are telling me they will ship
another after UPS processes the claim - which may take
10-15 days at least just to get the replacement -
after all the red tape, etc.

My old plane is on it's last legs and many of you know
I am in the middle of building a Black Magic. I was
hoping this new plane would be good for the next 3
meets in D3. But the way it's going I will have the
Black Magic finished before I get a replacement.

I am / was planning on doing the Knoxville meet next
weekend and the Nashville meet with this new plane -
hoping to have my Black Magic finished for Huntsville.
At the moment my old plane - a focus- is falling apart
and is in bad shape - I can band-ade it back together
enough to get it through one comp, but it's a mess and
I can't even fly it much without major repair work....

My question - does anyone have a new 2m arf kit or a
new pattern plane they would like to sell me in the
$500 - $800 price range. I would need to pick it up
this weekend.

Perferably set up for a YS.

Thank you all,

Dean Funk
