I'm sure we'll have crab winds at Ocala, which make you pinch the box.....
Ok ok....

Geez Mike! I wanted to send a response to the List, saying the I didn't know he had waterfront property, but resisted, Your response was MUCH better. How about lobster winds, which are biting?

This has been mentioned in the K Factor, but to be sure nobody misses it, I'll post it here as well. In an attempt to spur some fence sitters into attending a pattern competition and competing for the district championship, Mike Hester has graciously offered to award the champion of the 2006 District 3 sportsman class with an ARC Black Magic v-2. This is a full tilt 2 meter custom built widebody plane proven in competition. The 2nd and 3rd place winner will get a nice surprise as well.
This plane will have all the options, carbon canopy, wing and stab tubes, fixed C/F landing gear and pants, ready to paint and cover. To see more info, visit Mike's page at www.customairframes.com and have a look at the V2. It's a great plane and will provide a new intermediate pilot with a really valuable tool for the future.
Note that the winner must attend and compete in the district championship contest to receive the plane.
This will only work if we ALL work very hard to get the word out. So please, if you have some potential new competitors in mind, let them know about this and hopefully we can draw a few new pilots into our fold.
Thanks, Emory Schroeter.
