My  understanding is the Victory Motorcycle is 100% U.S. made; I'll stick 
with that until I hear otherwise.  I agree with what you say; I remember 
when a Volkswagon was a real head-turner because there were so few in the 
U.S.  BTW: where was Ralph Nader when it came to suing VW for one of the 
poorest handling cars to hit the road?  Probably VW didn't have the deep 
pockets that GM had, so he went after the Corvair.
