As I recall, the Honda Goldwing and Nissan Titan are the "most
American-Made" motorcycle and truck on the market, respectively. Even most
of the Honda cars and trucks are designed, fabricated, and assembled in the
USA. The Honda Civic Sedan and Ridgeline even took top honors at the
Detroit Auto Show this past weekend. They are very high quality, and built
in America.
Unfortunately, quality is expensive and the old adage "buy cheap buy twice"
applies. I hope the US economy can move back toward the quality end of the
spectrum and away from the "$34.99 Wal-Mart DVD Player Special" mindset,
before NONE of us can afford the quality products...
