    Thanks for the info.  In summary the opinion is Mobile One (automotive systhetic) or Klotz synthetic (motorcycle oil) for YS and Dexron (automatic transmission fluid) or Marvel Mystery oil for all others (2 strokes). 
     In fact either of the synthetics would work well for 2 or 4 strokes; with the possible exception that the Marvel Mystery oil may be superior due to its water displacement properties.

    Does that pretty well sum it up.
