I'd like to thank you for all you have done. It must be a very time
consuming job, being an officer of the NSRCA, and I understand your
resigning.

I wish you well and say hi to your Mom for us, family HAS to come first.

Good luck and God bless,

Ken Thompson

Subject: [NSRCA-discussion] Secretary resignation

I just wanted to let everyone know that I resigned as
Secretary last night.

I have really enjoyed working with and for all of you.
I already know most of the pilots in D3, and it has
been great getting to know so many of you around the
country.

I have reached a point in my NSRCA "career" where the
time I spend working for NSRCA is taking more and more
time away from my own hobbies of quilting and
genealogy, and this is also a time in my mother's life
where I need to spend more time looking after her as
well.

As you know, pattern is not my hobby. I will continue
to support the sport both in spirit and helping at
some of the local meets, but I have let the
secretary's job consume too much of my time and
thoughts so it sometimes seems like I a full-time job
with NSRCA. The time has come for me to step aside.

It is time that the Secretary of NSRCA be an active
pilot who competes in pattern. I think that individual
will have a better understanding of the needs of the
organization than I ever can.

It is unfortunate that Eric and I have resigned at the
same time. I know the Board will find excellent
candidates to replace us and I wish them well.

See you at the field!

Cathy Reuther
