We had a pretty good crosswind... more than I'd tried with my E-pattern plane before... and 4th attempt to land I forced it onto the ground... mistake.  I now need to replace the section of ply the landing gear used to be bolted to.

Well... such is the penalty for overconfidence.

Gives me an excuse to do the nose modification for easier battery access.

  Happy New Year to everyone,  pretty day to fly today. I went had a little crosswind and fast airplane.  Took me 10 attempts to get it on the ground. lol.. Never have done that In my life.   I was mad.

    We hope 2007 will allow us to be more involved in Pattern. Been a rough road for us, but we are now married and back on our feet...Believe it or not Lisa really pushes me to attend contests. For those times when I really don't want to make the trip, she will drive and I then always enjoy the time spent at a contest. Classic example was Muncie which we knew would be rained out. I'm pretty lucky to have her and her support. Now I just need to learn to fly well...VBG
