[NSRCA-discussion] Arm Chair pilot....

I believe that many of the long time pattern fliers forget what a great
influence a well produced primer can be. Even more so when some of the top
pilots show up (off) with smaller than 2M planes. I can't forget the time I
saw JS with a "trainer" at Ocala.....

Looking at the entire district D1 has had more new NSRCA members than any
other district the last two years in a row. With the addition of primers in
CT and NH this year as well as Hadley growing this year from a primer to a
full contest we have seen growth in the eastern end where there haven't been

contests in almost five years. True, in your end of the district the Glenn
contest was lost but Paradise was added and is few exits closer. I wasn't
around for the Good Old Days everyone talks about but for the last five
years contests in D1 haven't been that hard to find. Rick and Frank and
others have worked hard to make that happen.
