My point being that the concern was that sanctions can be obtained a year in
advance and that would allow us to publish these contests far in advance.
We, as DVP's, have no control over contest sanction and thus it should be
directed at the CD's.  I will check with our web team to see why/if there is
a restriction on posting of contests.

Not totally.  I have the D6 calendar pretty much done.  Been talking with
CD's for the past 3 months to work out details.  I'm just waiting on the
website.  I'm sure there is a reason that we restrict contest postings tothe
current year but I don't know what it is.  If we can relax this rule, it
would be fine with me.
