John,
Depending on how deep the cut is, this may be repairable. I've done several wings with large chunks removed. Can often be done without adding weight. Have a pic?

Well, it was windy. The plane settled in a little more than I expected. As you know my flying field is a Little League baseball field. Not much room there and plenty of trees. I flew through the tree but I heard the noise. Luckily I landed OK (motor still running). One wing was missing a big chunk. The other only has minor damage. The fuse looks like it should be easy to repair. You'll never know this happened if I put a new set of wings on it. I got really lucky.

Oops. Had a little accident this weekend. Does anybody have a spare set of wings for a Temptation? Even just a set of cores would be fine. TIA
