Rob:
I adopted a little trick that Matt Kebabjian told me about. You laminate a pair of CF pins into the hatch, matched to holes in the fuselage. You then open up the holes to accept a piece of fuel tubing and glue that into the hole to become the bearing surface for the CF pin. It seems to require at least 1/4 to 3/8" thick material to accept the fuel tubing securely with some CA and kicker. Rough up the exterior of the tubing and clean with alchohol before gluing. Works great, the rattling goes way down. For the bearing surface between the hatch/fuselage, I use some thin felt strips to fill areas where I could see gaps between the mating surfaces. You can get the felt material in a local Rag Shop or similar. Use something like Goop to adhere the felt so that it doesn't harden up. I don't know if that's the best material for the job or not, but the fuel tubing trick helps a lot at least.

Anyone know who sells, anti vibration type of products that you can mount the chin cowl and canopy to absorb some of the vibration from the YS 1.60. I had a pinnalce last year that had a dowel going into some rubber mounts to help with vibration. Any thoughts?
Merry Christmas to you all!
Thanks,
Rob
