[NSRCA-discussion] Long gear

One of the fields I fly at has very long grass which has been tough on my 
planes. Using the standard ES gear I wind up cleaning a lot of green off my 
plane at the end of the day. Is there any downside (other than looking kind 
of dorky) to using the ES tall gear. I am thinking off the extra leverage on 
the gear mounts, etc.
