Well, my son and I use Reflex. I like it much better than G3.x. I have not tried AFPD or FS1, though my son has also tried FS1. My son has worn out the pots on an old 7UAP transmitter, using it with Reflex.
   
  I have not really used it for pattern practice, so I should not try to comment on that. It does not have any pattern type planes in its inventory, however. I primarily used it for learning 3D, which it does VERY well.
   
  You don't see Reflex advertised a lot, which is a shame. I think it is much better than G3.x.
