Kelly:
I think that there's only an 8311 metal gear servo available, so you would 
have to do the same trick with the nylon gear replacement set.  You'll spend 
some extra for the servo and another 3 or 4 bucks on the nylon gear set.  If 
you need it fast, it's an option.  The same nylon gears will work in either 
the 8311 or 8411.
