Smithfield would have been the perfect field, but alas has been shut down
for years. And with it went Becky's Log Cabin Inn.

Are any of the smithsfield,NC people still on the email list? I have not
seen one at a contest in around 3 or 4 years. Their location is just about
what you are looking for.

Joe, if you don't mind going a little further south; Latta, SC is about ten
miles off of I-95. Take exit 181-B (SC rt. 38) towards Myrtle Beach. Turn
left onto Bass Mill Rd., go 1 mile, entrance on the right. Make yourself at
home.

Hi guys, a few of us are making the trip to the Tangerine contest form D-1
and would like to know of a flying site not to far off of Rt 95 somewhere in
mid NC that would let us fly on Thursday. If someone would be nice enough to
give us some field information that would be great. Joe Z
