I thought the boost was the co-pilot. Anyhow, I am just looking for trouble. I am good at finding it. Just ask my YS engines.....

No computer, no cell phone. I guess that is what I would expect from an MD-80 pilot. I hear they still navigate those things by the stars....
Art was an MD-80 pilot? Doesn't the MD-80 have control system boost as a minimum? It doesn't sound like something a guy with no computer and no cell phone would put up with. <VBG>
I know I will pay for that one in Lubbock. Just let me tell Art the joke myself.
Oh, and no offence Don Ramsey.
Don Ramsey has big shoulders; no need to placate him.

BTW.... I talked to Art today and he said to tell you guys to go "chuckle!!" "chuckle!!" back to your computers and cell phones while he burns another case of fuel.
He has had his new Aries flying for about 2 months now and claims to have about 150 flights on it already.

Art is the guy that is at the field on contest day at day break running his engine or beating on the door of your RV to get you up. He will have the golden oldies channel blaring out of the back of his SUV. He can tell you every little detail to making an OS run good, 1.40's and 1.60's. He is a meticulous builder and painter (and he paints from a spray can, ala my method too). And he has a pelithera of jokes at his disposal. When greated he will give you a big Sieg Hiel with a big grin. (He is partiotic to the bone.) And he will do everything possible to help or make you pattern experience the best it can be.
So Art dont own a phone or puter but he has some of the best qualities a human could own.
Arts a hoot..........

Man I cannot wait to let Art know that he is on this list...First I will have to explain a few things to him
1. Computer-As far as he is concerned, computers are those damn gadgets they put in airplanes that as an Airforce pilot, resulted in his fellow flyers bombing the wrong house, shoulda used the manual sight, Second in commercial planes, those damn things flew the plane into a mountain cuz the pilots had their heads down fussin' with the computer.
2. Email-Whats that for???? pick up the land line and talk.
3. Cell phone-waste of money, useless piece of technology AND his son is the manager of a Cellular store! Now who is rebelling against who here? But Art is a master of using cell phone technology in reverse..that is calling your phone.
Come to D6...meet Art Wagner in person, the pesonality!
