Yes, there is an O ring in the pipe. When I bought my pipe I ordered
several extra O rings since they will wear out at some point.

Greg, what does the header slip into? Is there an O ring or something that
seals the connection and also allow movement?

Glenn,

I am using the Hatori 822 header for that pipe. It slips inside the pipe and
works really well.
