It's not ALL about the dihedral. Many other variables like wing sweep,
rudder area distribution, vertical CG, fore-aft CG, fuselage side area
distribution, etc...effect roll coupling with rudder. Most of these are
inhernet to the design and construction of the airframe, thus are
difficult to change. Although form tends to follow function (hence many
similar looking pattern designs) most designers and pilots still want an
airplane that bears some resemblance to a "real" airplane (canopy, stab
locations/shape, wing planform, etc...) and thus most designs are less
than ideal from a neutrality and coupling standpoint. Not to say you
can't tweak an conventionally shaped airframe to be totally neutral and
have no coupling, it just requires some trial and error and luck to get
the magic formula.

Dihedral. It's ALL about the dihedral... To much and you get pro-verse
coupling, too little and you'll get adverse coupling.

Ever flown the old "Contender" kit?? Zero dihedral in the wing...push
hard right rudder and make a nicely banked left turn....lol

I was doing some changes to my plane the other day moved CG back a
little tested with a little more incedence, and no matter what I done it
requires aileron mix with rudder. I haven't found anything that explains
what needs to be changed to fix this, the mix is 12% and 15%.

 Any thoughts out there?
