Why?  What am I missing?  If topics are worth discussion, people can 
hit 'reply all' or put the Discussion List address in the Cc: slot.  
With my browser, all I have to do is start the address in the Cc: slot 
and it 'autofills' for me.  If the response goes to the List, it will 
be archived.  This is not the end of civilization as we know it.  After 
all, if we can fly R/C airplanes, we can probably learn how to sent 
'valuable' responses to e-mails back to the List.
