Mail List Changes

Dave,
I don't think Yahoo sells addresses. I have not seen popups, but they do have advertisements on the group if you go to their site to read the messages. (You can have the messages emailed to you, if that is what you want). There is an option to hide the email addresses so that spammers can't harvest email addresses. The group can also be "by invitation only" for reading the messages online, to prevent address harvesting.

Does Yahoo generate spam, pop ups or sell email address to spammers?
I have no idea

Bill,
I administer a group on Yahoo, and you do not have to have a Yahoo ID to be able to participate in the group, although you do have more options if you are a Yahoo member. It works fairly well. I'm not saying that we should go that route, but I do think it is an option to consider.

I would hate to see this list under the "participation" required for
admission to Yahoo or RCU, neither of which do I wish to become involved
with.
That's my only $.02 on the matter. Bill Glaze
