ES Pipe Repair??

I would suggest a two step approach. First, wash it with good strong 
soap/water....or maybe Simple Green. Then go over it again with 
Automotive paint "pre-cleaner" from folks like DuPont or PPG. Thoroughly 
dry.

Any of you composites experts got a better idea?
