Chris -
Secure the engine end of the header to a board
then heat the header pipe w/ a propane torch (gently / evenly)
stick a dowel (close to pipe dia) into the pipe to the desired bend
location,
and bend it slowly once the metal is hot.
When hot enough it bends easily.

Subject: bending an aluminum header
Since we are on the topic of aluminum, what is the best way to make a
slight bend in an aluminum header? I need it to move maybe 1/4" to 3/8"
at the outlet end of the header. Thanks!
Chris
