No license required. Same as our current 72mhz use. These things are not an
issue. Also I'm not an expert in the technology and the question about other
users of this band. My understanding is the frequency usage for RC is so
small its a flake of pepper in the 2.4ghz band. Also that there are no
issues with our use and the 2.4ghz router next door causing issues. I'm not
an expert on this stuff but I have discussed it with the engineers during
testing and it is not an issue.
Steve is correct there are two channels used when transmitting. The band we
are using is large enough to operate up to 80 systems without problems. I
don't think I would be flying a pattern model through 80 other models at the
same flying field...but it might be fun with a foamy!
